With just five ingredients, this one-pot pasta main course can be made with any pasta shapes. It’s extra tasty served with plenty of freshly ground black pepper and grated Parmesan. This recipe is a delicious leftovers idea from our roasted beef silverside dishIf you'd like to make it from scratch, you'll need 200g (7oz) of beef.

The leftover meat needs to be thoroughly reheated until piping hot and should never be re-heated more than once.

Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the pasta according to the packet instructions, adding the broccoli for the final 3 minutes of cooking time. Drain the pasta, reserving a mug of the cooking water. Tip the pasta and broccoli back into the pan.

Add the beef, crème fraîche and crushed chillies and stir well. Add enough of the reserved pasta cooking water to form a creamy sauce that coats the pasta. Check that the beef is heated right through and serve immediately.
