slice beef very thinly against the grain fry in pan in a little butter add to heavy based pan.
slice onins in half place onion flat on board cut into threee so that they are a crescent shape fry in a little butter. add half to the beef
thickly slice the mushrooms fry in little butter add half to the pan. season the pan ingredients with lots of black pepper and a little salt.
badd cider and boil for 1 hr 30 mins this may look dry .no fret it should add rest of onions and mushrooms boil for 20 mins aadd creme fresh and voila !!! job done
serve with rice or mash. so easy tastes fab truly retro great to impress at a dinner party or a sat night special and economical
