Preheat oven to 150 degrees.

Heat a little oil in a lidded pot and brown pheasant on all sides. Add sliced veg (all), herbs, stock and cidar. Bring to boil.

Add salt and pepper.

Transfer to oven (lid on) for 2 hours.

Serve with creamy mash and veg.

  • 4oz mushrooms (sliced)
  • 2 Mixed herbs (pinches)
  • 0.5 pint of chicken stock.
