My little girl is 5, she just loves cooking, but I am not a good cook. This recipe is easy for me and something she has fun making and we all can eat!
Heat the oven to 200 c/ 400 F/ Gas 6,
(tell children not to touch the hot oven!)
Get the kids to mix the flour salt and herbs together
Then they can rub in the sunflower spread
Stir in the milk and water and get the kids to mix to a smooth dough. If it’s too sticky add a little more flour for them.
ither: roll out the dough to 1 cm / 1⁄2 inch thick and place on a greased baking sheet, or
grease an 7 inch square / 8 inch round shallow baking tin and, using their hands, get the kids to press the dough into the tin.
Mum should then heat the oil and fry the onion until soft.
Mum should add the mushrooms and cook for another 3 – 4 minutes.
Get the kids spreading the tomatoe puree, onion and mushrooms on the pizza base and top with sliced tomato, sweetcorn and grated cheese.
Bake for 30 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Mum cut up the pizza and serve, kids munch it all up, yum yum! Happy Mothers Day.
kids watch a film, mum put your feet up (after checking you turned the oven off!)
