Mix together the maple syrup and the soy sauce in a bowl. Add the sliced garlic. Cook the pork chop under a grill until brown on both sides. Add the sauce to the top of the pork chop and grill for a further five minutes until nicely glazed and cooked through.
Cook the beans in a pan on a moderate heat with a little water. Serve the chop on top of the beans in a bowl or plate.
