This pie is very good for Halloween. I make it every year for the children's Halloween party.
Cut pumpkin into small pieces. Stew gently in a pan with sugar till soften. Puree pumpkin in a food processor. Add in spices. Leave to cool.
Line a 20cm flan tin wit the pastry. Beat the eggs and cream into the pumpkin puree. Pout the mixture into the pastry case.
Bke in the oven 190C/375F/Gas 5 for 40-45 minutes until the filling is set.
