Place all the ingredients in a large saucepan and bring to the boil over a medium heat. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20-25 minutes until the quince is soft and the syrup has reduced.

Allow the chutney to cool then store in sterilised glass jars. Serve with the cream crackers.
