Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and line or grease a brownie tin
Simmer the raspberries in a pan with the water and vanilla extract until they start to break down then blend or mash until smooth
This usually takes 5-10 minutes
Mix the butter and sugar together
Add to this the ground almonds and then the whisked eggs gradually
Finally the baking powder and the raspberries. Top with the flaked almonds and any left over raspberries
Bakes for 30-40 minutes in the oven
