Preheat oven to 180°C.
In a large bowl, add the flour and make a well in the middle. Add the sugar, butter and egg yolks and mix together to a dough. Transfer into a greased springform cake tin and spread evenly.
Make a glaze by heating the caster sugar with a little water. Brush the top of the dough with the glaze. Place in the oven and bake for 30 minutes until golden brown
In a saucepan, add the mixed berries with a little water and sugar, bring to the boil and simmer for five minutes, drain. Serve fruit on and around the cake.
