Sausage and Bean Casserole with Cous Cous recipe

We discovered this recipe from friends whilst on a group holiday - it is a cheap, simple, nutritious and tasty dish that can be varied to suit your taste!

Grill sauages to brown off.

If using onion fry in some oil until soft in the bottom of a casserole dish. Add the canned chopped tomatoes, baked beans, kidney beans and chick peas and gently heat.

Add chilli powder and stir well.

In a seperate saucepan add just boiled water to the cous cous - just enough to cover. Gently heat and when just to boiling point turn off heat and cover for 10 minutes.

Add sausages (whole or chopped) to the casserole pot and continue to gently heat.

Stir cous cous well. Serve with the casserole and enjoy!
