Heat the Flora Cuisine in a large pan. Add the onions and garlic, cover and cook gently for 30 minutes or until onions are very soft and lightly browned.
Add the flour and cook for 1 minute stirring continuously. Gradually add the stock, stir until boiling then simmer for 20-30 minutes. Season to taste. Stir in the brandy if using and serve with crusty bread.
Serve with cheese topped croutons.
