Reminding me of the simple recipes my mum would turn out when I was little
Put potatoes in salty water, and simmer for 25 mins
10 mins before the end of potatoes cooking, fry the chestnut mushrooms for 5-6 mins.
Remove from heat and add creme fraiche
Slice potatoes in 3.
Mix the potatoes with the mushroom sauce
Keep lid on and just have enough water to cover the potatoes.
