i had never tried salmon and my partner showed me ways to cook it and now its my favourite and i love finding different ways to eat it
Take your salmon side or salmon portions and descale
Take sheets of tin foil to make the parcels for your salmon
Once your salmon is descaled and cut into your portions you can prepare them for cooking
cut your large lemon into segments, one segment for each parcel and separate dill into equal amounts for each parcel
finely chop your garlic and put each of your salmon pieces into the centre of your foil parcel. Turn up the edges slightly so the oil doesnt run off the foil
drizzle oil over each salmon piece and generously sprinkle each piece of salmon with salt and pepper, the garlic and the dill you prepared earlier
gently squeeze the lemon onto the salom and leave in the parcel to infuse the oil
turn up the edges of each parcel so the top has a small opening for air to release, you are now ready for the bbq :)
place onto the bbq and let the salmon cook away for around 5 to 8 mins depending on how large the pieces are
once cooked remove from the bbq and serve :)
You can descale with a sharp knife in a scraping motion to remove the scales.
Use the infused oil for any vegetables or salad you are serving
Tastes great with some boiled buttery new potatoes and a fresh salad or grilled vegetables
