Sliders are smaller than the average burger, making them the perfect party bites. This line up provides three equally delicious meat, poultry and veggie options, to make sure that every guest is catered for. 

Cumin lamb burgers

Combine the lamb mince, cumin and olive oil in a bowl and season. Divide each into eight and shape into small patties.

Brush the patties with a little oil and cook on the barbecue (or in a pan) for 4-5 minutes each side, until cooked through. To serve, arrange the burgers in mini buns and add the aubergine slices and goat's cheese.

Spiced chickpea burgers

In a food processor 1 x 240g tin chickpeas, drained, 1 tsp smoked paprika, 1 medium egg, 2 tsp Dijon mustard, 3 tbsp chopped coriander, 2 tsp vegetable oil, then stir in 75g (3oz) white breadcrumbs. Divide into six and shape into patties. Brush the patties with oil and cook on the barbecue (or in a pan) for 4-5 minutes each side, until cooked through. To serve, arrange the burgers in mini buns with some tomato salsa and peat shoots.

Green chilli turkey burgers

In a bowl, combine 500g (1lb) turkey mince, 2 tsp olive oil, 1 green chilli, deseeded and finely chopped and 2 garlic cloves, crushed. Divide the mixture into eight and shape into small patties. Brush with oil and cook on the barbecue (or in a pan) for 4-5 minutes each side, until cooked through. To serve, arrange the burgers in mini buns with some fried red onions and mozzarella.
