Heat the oil in a pan and cook the bacon until crisp. Add the onion and cook the onion until it's soft. Add the black pepper, garlic and chopped tomatoes, mix well and simmer for 30 minutes.

Meanwhile cook the pasta until it is al dente.

Drain the pasta then stir into the bacon and tomato sauce, sprinkle in the cheese and serve.

Tip

You could also add peppers or mushrooms, or a pinch of chilli powder to spice it up a little.
