This is a quick and delicious mid week winner.
Cook pasta as per packet instructions.
Meanwhile put the lardons, onions and pepper into a frying pan with 1tbsp oil and fry until vegetables soften and lardons brown. This is nice when they go a little crispy.
When pasta is cooked, drain and stir through pesto and tomato puree then serve and top with the veg and lardons.
