Preheat the oven to Gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C.

 

Bring a large pan of water to the boil and cook the spaghetti as per packet instructions.

 

Drain the spaghetti when cooked. Place half into a large ovenproof dish and mix with half the sweetcorn. Sprinkle half the grated cheese over the spaghetti/sweetcorn mix. Place the remaining spaghetti into the dish and add the remaining sweetcorn and grated cheese.

 

Place in the oven for 20-30 minutes. The sausages can be cooked on a lightly oiled baking tin in the oven at the same time. Cook the peas according to the packet instructions. Serve with 2 sausages each and peas (optional).

 

It's possible to add sliced hard boiled eggs to the casserole for additional variety.
