This is my mum's recipe. She likes making pasta dishes for the family.
Fry onion and garlic in a sauce pan in olive oil without browning. Add in ground beef and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add in mushrooms.
Stir in stock, bay, tomato, tomato puree, basil and salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes until the sauce is thicken.
Cook spaghetti in boiling salt water till tender..
Drain. Transfer onto a warm serving dish. Pour the bolognese sauce over. Sprinkle with grated cheese.
Chopped fresh herbs can be used to garnish the dish.
