I used to be in Art & Design, was made redundant and just love to cook fresh, healthy and fast food for friends & family.
Rub yeast into flour, add salt.
Mixture should look like fine breadcrumbs.
Add any herbs, sundried tomatoes, nuts etc you want at this stage.
Mix everything together until the dough combines & forms a ball, leaving nothing in the bowl.
Set oven to 250c
Lightly flour working surface, fold & kneed dough for 5 minutes, place in a bowl/cover with a cloth for 30minutes to ‘proove‘ or rise.
When dough is 3 times larger use hands to form into ball, place on floured surface & devide into bread rolls: round, plaited etc
Transfer to baking tray in hot oven & bake until golden brown.
Spray the oven/rolls with water to encourage ‘steam‘ at the start of cooking.
Leave rolls to cool, spread with butter or cut, toast, and serve with toppings or simply with soup.
There are nothing but ‘natural‘ ingrediants used, add any herbs, spice powders, dry ingredients of your choice to change the basic recipe.
