my sis showed me how to make this 40 years ago and everyone Ive ever made it for loves it EVEN though it seems hot using chillies. it isnt TOO hot!
dice up all veg and sausagemeat until well mixed
make thick circular burger shapes from the mixture (should make 4 large ones). you can roll into shape but you'll need flour to help you shape it. easier to mouldin hands.
place on greaseproof paper
when ready to BBQ, place on grill for 8 mins each side or until pork is cooked
serve with salad - kids of all ages love it even though it is hot with chillies
put in fridge to keep cool until needed for BBQ -also help to keep firm
