Spicy tomato & chorizo fusilli

When I first met my husband he used to do me this type of pasta dish but I couldn't always eat it as it was too fiery for me. After being with him for nearly 10 years now my tastebuds have become more used to chili in food so I tend to add it to my cooking without thinking!

Prepare the saucepan with hot water and a splash of olive oil, when back to the boil add the fusilli

Slice the onions, mushrooms and chorizo.

Add the oil to a pan and heat, then fry the onions until slightly soft. Then add the mushrooms and chorizo, and the sliced salami.

Heat the ingredients together while the pasta is cooking and a couple of minutes before the end add the can of tomatoes. Stir all the ingredients together and leave to simmer.

Check the pasta is cooked (8 to 10 minutes on the packet) to your taste, drain and put into bowls.

Add the sauce and eat!

Add cheese on top if you fancy it but yummy without too!
