Heat a griddle or a large frying pan. When hot, rub the steaks with oil and season with salt and freh black pepper.
Cook for 2 minutes per side for rare, 3 minutes each side for medium rare and 4 minutes each side for well done.
Meanwhile, heat a nonstick frying pan and add a tsp of vegetable oil. Break the eggs into the pan and cook over a low heat for 2-3 minutes until the whites are set the yolk just cooked.
