I grew up in South Africa and sosaties are a staple part of any barbeque. This is my favourite way to do them.
Cut the chicken up into bitesize chunks. Cut the green pepper into squares. Thread the chicken, green pepper and mushrooms onto wooden skewers, place in a non metalic dish. Combine the remaining ingredients and pour over the skewers as a marinade, cover with plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for several hours. Cook on the barbeque until the juices from the chicken run clear and the honey caramalises.
