a lower sugar cake recipe by replacing half the sugar with strawberries or another berry of your choice

preheat oven to 200 degrees C and line a 12-hole bun tin with paper cases

cream butter and sugar

add eggs, a little at a time beating well

fold in the flour

spoon into cake cases and cook until risen and firm on top

cool

replace half the sugar in your cake with fresh strawberries instead.
