I am a Tesco Orchard club member and got to try this with free berries as a part of their scheme.

De-stalk and cut the strawberries in half. Freeze.

Blend frozen strawberries with the remaining ingredients. Test for sweetness, adding more sweetner if desired.

Freeze for 2-3 hrs, beating the mixture every 30-45 minutes to break-up the ice-crystals. This will achieve a creamy consistency like ice-cream. Alternatively, churn in an ice-cream maker.

Eat, Eat, Eat and Enjoy!

When testing for sweetness, remember when frozen the mixture will taste less sweet. Swop strawberries for raspberries or blackberries.

  • 200ml Organic Whole Milk
  • 25g Skimmed Milk Powder
  • 1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 Tsp Lemon Juice
