Normally I make scones using glace cherries but since I love strawberrys so much decided to try using them and this is the recipe I found to work best
Preheat oven to 200 (180 fan) Gas 6.
Chop strawberrys up and dust with 25g of sugar and set aside.
Sieve flour, baking powder, caster sugar and salt into a bowl.
Cut butter in to small cubes and rub in to flour mix with hands, until mix looks like breadcrumbs.
Add in sugar dusted strawberrys.
Whisk the milk and eggs together.
Stir in most of the milk mix into the breadcrumb mix, saving some milk mix aside to glaze scones.
Devide mixture into 6 parts and shape into scones and put on to baking tray, then brush with left over milk mix.
Bake until golden brown on top 10-15 minutes.
Try to use strawberrys which are quite firm and not too ripe so the scone do not go too soggy.
