Grapefruits are a delicious and quick breakfast but these sugar glazed grapefruits make a refreshing summer dessert as well.
Preheat the grill to high.
Cut the grapefruits in half and then separate each grapefruit segment away from the pith using a grapefruit knife.
Sprinkle the sugar over the cut surface of each grapefruit, place onto a baking sheet and grill for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown on top and lightly caramelized.
Place a cherry in the middle of each grapefruit and serve while still hot with teaspoons.
