Prepare the jelly according to packet instructions, but do not place it into the fridge to set.
Cut the Swiss roll into equal sized cubes and divide between trifle dishes or sundae glasses
Scatter the berries over the top of the sponge pieces. Pour the prepared jelly over the fruit and then top with custard.
Whip the cream and pour over the custard. Scatter over toasted almond slices to serve.
