Put the chicken into a shallow bowl and pour over the soy sauce to marinade.
Heat the oil in the deep fat fryer. Meanwhile, mix together the breadcrumbs, flour and Chinese 5 spice. Roll pieces of chicken fillet in this dry mixture.
Start to fry chicken pieces in small batches for 3 minutes until golden. (The temperature of the oil should be 175°C).
Start cooking rice.
Mix together the tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, honey, lemon and ginger. Stir together and heat for 1 minute on High in the microwave.
Serve the fried chicken on the rice with the sweet and sour sauce.
Tips: Don't fry chicken pieces in one go straight away. Par fry in small batches letting the fat get back to temperature between each batch. Once all have been par cooked they can be blitzed together just before serving.
