I love making these biscuit with the children. They love eating them too.
Mix flour, salt and butter with a hand mix. Add in sugar, cherries and egg to form a dough.
Roll out the dough. Cut into 30 round biscuits with a 5cm. cutter.
Place the biscuits on a baking tin and bake in a preheated oven for12-15 minutes (180C/350F/Gas mark 4) till golden brown.
Leave to cool on a wire rack.
Biscuits will keep up to 2 weeks in an air tight tin.
