Place a pan with water on to boil for the tagliatelle. Meanwhile cut up the bacon into small cubes.
Once water is boiling place in the tagliatelle, and cook for about 5 mins. Put on a frying pan with a splash of olive oil once heated fry the bacon until golden and crispy.
Cut up the asparagus leaving the heads in tact and add to the tagliatelle about a minute before end of pasta cooking time.
Once bacon is cooked place to one side still in pan and allow to cool for 2 mins, then add the creme fraiche and half the Parmesan cheese and mix together.
Add the tagliatelle and asparagus to the mixture and stir. Add your salt and pepper to personal taste.
Serve onto your plates and sprinkle the rest of the Parmesan over the top. Serve with crusty bread.
