In a small mixing bowl, whisk together the olive oil, tabasco sauce, cayenne pepper, paprika, tomato puree and lime juice with some seasoning.
Coat the chicken wings in the marinade, mix well and cover and chill for 1 hour.
Pre-heat the oven to 200° C.
Remove the wings from the fridge and arrange on roasting trays. Allow to sit for 10 minutes before roasting for 20 minutes until cooked through and juices run clear. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for a few minutes; dry off any excess marinade so that the wings are dry.
Arrange the slices of chilli pepper on top and serve.
Use red chilli pepper if you can't find any yellow chillies.
