Preheat the oven gas mark 3, line the long tin with the greased paper

lightly whip the cream with the sugar using a hand mixer add the flour, baking powder and the eggs, mix well

transfer half of the mixture to a tin, add some berries, then rest of the mixture and some more berries

bake for 30 minutes or untill the inserted stick will come out dry

I love this recipe as you can use so many different fruits for it. You could bake it is a tea bread with some berries (blueberries are good, but you can use strawberries, raspberries) or in a square tin with the apricots, plums or cherries
