one of my first ever dishes always goes down well
finely chop onion, crush garlic, soften in pan with cooking spray.
Finely slice mushrooms
skin fish cut into bite size pieces and put in oven proof dish
put softened onion and garlic and finely sliced mushrooms over fish
pour quarter pint cider over fish,cover with foil and bake in oven 170-190 for15min
cream cornflour with tablespoon of cider
remove fish from oven pour liquid into saucepan, bring to boil and thicken with cornflour mix.
Pour sauce over fish, sprinkle over crisps as topping, sprinkle over cheese.
Bake in hot oven until top browns
Serve with any choice of green veg, no other accompaniment needed
