Preheat the oven to gas mark 7/220°C/fan oven 200°C. Sift 80g (3oz) plain flour into a bowl with a pinch of salt. Break in 1 egg and whisk it in, drawing flour down from the sides, until mostly combined. Slowly whisk in 100ml (3½fl oz) skimmed milk and 2 tsp fresh thyme leaves to make a smooth batter. Set aside, covered, for 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, place 4 Weight Watchers Premium Pork Sausages into a 1 litre (1¾ pint) roasting tin with 150g (5½oz) red onions, sliced into wedges. Mist with calorie controlled cooking spray. Roast for 20 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned. Pour over the batter and bake for 20 minutes until golden.
Serve immediately with steamed green vegetables and 600ml (20fl oz) gravy made from 40g (1½oz) granules.
