Cook pasta according to packet.
Finely chop the onion and garlic clove.
Heat the oil in a pan on medium, add onion and cook until soft.
Add garlic and cook for another minute.
Add tin of chopped tomatoes, the puree and mixed herb. Simmer gently for 15 minutes until sauce is thick and rich. Season with salt and pepper.
Make sure pan not too hot when garlic added it burns easily.
