In a frying pan cook the peppers and onion in the olive oil with chilli oil to taste over a high heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Meanwhile put on a pan of salted water to boil.
Cook the tortelloni in the water for 3 minutes. Drain and add to the peppers and onion. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in the chilli flakes and extra chilli oil if you like.
This comfort dish with a kick of spice is a great supper for one but can easily be bumped up to feed a crowd. Try a different flavoured filling in the pasta to ring the changes.
