Place one tortilla on a plate and spread it with the tomato puree or ketchup.
Sprinkle half the cheese over the tomato.
Layer the ham and sausage chunks evenly over the tortilla.
Cover with the remaining cheese and top with the second tortilla.
Carefully transfer to a hot frying pan and cook for 2 minutes.
Turn the tortilla. It may be easiest to slide it from the pan to a plate, then carefully turn it back into the pan to cook the other side.
Cook until the cheese has melted and tortilla is crisp.
Slide it out of the pan and, while it is cooling, dress the salad.
Cut the tortilla into portions and serve with the salad.
Buy a pre-packaged bag of salad to throw together in a bowl.
I have found that the thinner the meat, the tastier this meal becomes.
I would recommend experimenting with various meats to see which one you like the best!
