Tropical muesli recipe

The morning before you want to eat the muesli, mix the oats, pineapple, mango, dried fruit, milk and pineapple juice in a lidded container. Put on the lid and leave to soak overnight in the fridge.

The next morning, stir the desiccated coconut and agave syrup or honey into the oats mix. Spoon into bowls and top with the sliced banana, yogurt and a little more agave syrup or honey,if you like.

  • 50g (2oz) dried pineapple, snipped into bite-sized pieces
  • 50g (2oz) dried mango, snipped into bite-sized pieces
  • 40g (1½oz) mixed dried fruit, such as raisins, sultanas or berries
  • 300ml (10fl oz) skimmed milk
  • 150ml (¼pt) pineapple juice
  • 50g (2oz) desiccated coconut
  • 1tbsp agave syrup or honey, plus extra to serve
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • low-fat natural yogurt, to serve
