Tuna and ready-salted crisp pasta bake recipe

Preheat oven to Gas 4, 180°C, fan 160°C.
Boil a large pan of water and cook the pasta in salted water according to the packet instructions.
While pasta is cooking drain the tuna and warm the sweetcorn.
Make up white sauce following the directions on the packet.
When the pasta is cooked and drained, place in a baking dish with the tuna, white sauce and sweetcorn. Mix until all are evenly covered with sauce.
Crush the crisps in the packet until evenly sized and sprinkle over the top.
Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
Remove from the oven when golden and bubbling.

  • 370g (12 3/4 oz) - tuna flakes (two small cans)
  • 50g (2oz) - savoury white sauce (2 packets)
  • 600ml (1 pint) - semi skimmed milk
  • 50g (2oz) - ready-salted crisps
