Put the fruits, lemon juice and sugar in a small pan and cook for 5 minutes, over a medium high heat, stirring, until the fruits become juicy. Meanwhile, place a small dry frying pan over a high heat. When hot add the nuts and toast for a minute, stirring, until just browning.
Toast the waffles, if you like, then arrange on plates. Spoon over the compote, top each serving with 2 tbsp of yogurt, scatter on the nuts and sprinkle over cinnamon.
