My fiancé is originally from nigeria and this is a recipie his mom taught him to cook
It‘s a family favourite
Prepare stock. You will need to make up a pint of fish stock using fish stock cubes
Place in a pan
Add 1 finely diced onion
3/4 cup of lazy chopped chillis
Pinch of salt
Pinch of ground black pepper
Teaspoon of cinnamon
Boil at a low heat.
In the meantime grill your fish on a medium heat for five to ten minutes turning regularly
When cooked add to the stew mixture and continue to boil for ten minutes covering your pan
Fresh fish gives better flavours
Any fish can be used
