Wok beef with peppers and lemongrass recipe

Heat the oil for the wok of beef with peppers and basil in a large wok over a high heat until hot. Stir fry the beef for 2 minutes, then add the red pepper and beansprouts and continue to stir fry for 3 minutes. Remove from the heat and season with the soy sauce.

Transfer to a serving bowl and cover with aluminium foil.

Heat the groundnut oil for the wok of beef with peppers and lemongrass in a clean wok over a high heat until hot. Stir fry the beef for 2 minutes, then add the peppers and lemongrass. Stir fry for a further 3 minutes.

Remove from the heat and stir in the soy sauce. Spoon into a serving bowl and garnish with the coriander leaves. Garnish the other bowl of beef with the basil leaves. Serve immediately.
