In a loaf tin, mix the soy sauce, lemon juice, garlic, ginger, oil, sesame seeds and chopped salad onions. Thread the steak onto the bamboo skewers, pushing the skewer in and out as though sewing. Place skewered meat in marinade, turn to coat all sides.
Cover and place in the fridge to marinade for 4 hours and then drain. Grill, griddle or barbecue about 2 minutes per side. Serve with finely sliced red onions and fragrant rice.
