This choclate cake is delicious and it is a lovely teatime treat for the kids.
Line and grease 2 sandwich cake tins (18cm). Cream butter and sugar together till light and fluffy. Add in eggs. Sieve lour and cocoa together. Fold the flour to the butter mixture.
Dvide the mixture between the 2 sandwich cake tins. Bake in the centre of the oven for 30 minutes 180C/350F/ Gas 4 untill golden brown.
Turn the ckes out to cool on the wire rack.
Cream butter and icing sugar together. Dissolve the cooca powder in the hot water. Add to the butter cream.
When the cakes are cool. Sandwich the cake with chocolate butter cream. Decorate the top of the cake with butter icing and sprinkle with icing sugar.
