This rich soy glaze is really delicious and versatile and is simplicity in itself. It's perfect with fish, chicken, steak, mushrooms and much more.
All you have to do is take 150ml of dark soy sauce and add this to your pan followed by two tablespoons of honey. Bring to the boil and cook for about six minutes until you have a nice syrupy consistency. Transfer to a storage container and it's ready to use.
At this stage you can spoon over the glaze on uncooked chicken or some salmon and you can roast it to get that really lovely caramelised flavour. It really is just that simple, so why not give it a go?
