Briony May Williams
The baker, presenter, podcaster and advocate serves up tried and tested recipes across social and TV.
Advocate, presenter and down-to-earth trend tryer

Briony first hit our screens in 2018 after reaching the semi-finals of The Great British Bake Off. She wowed the judges with her epic bakes and ingenuity. Since then, she’s presented Escape to the Country (BBC One) and is one of the regular cooking experts on Morning Live (BBC One). You might also have seen her on Food Unwrapped (Channel 4) or heard her on her parenting podcast, I’m Not Judging But…
When it comes to cooking, Briony’s recipes are innovative but achievable. Her social media sees her trying out trends she’s seen online with her trademark humour and down-to-earth delivery.
Briony was named on The Shaw Trust’s Disability power 100 list of the UK’s most influential disabled people in 2021 and 2022. She says she didn’t like the term ‘disabled’ before appearing on Bake Off but has since been very open about living with a disability. She often speaks at events about the importance of inclusion and challenging stereotypes.
