Fatima "Fatti" Tarkleman

Proudly queer restaurant chef and activist Fatima “Fatti” Tarkleman specialises in exciting fusion cooking to reflect their mixed African-Asian descent.

Cross-cultural cooking that’s big on taste

Fatima “Fatti” Tarkleman is a proudly queer chef and activist of mixed African-Asian descent, focusing on locally sourced ingredients, sustainability and inclusivity. Fatti's fusion cooking reflects their multicultural background and refusal to be confined to traditional labels. Their food represents the flavours of their heritage and London upbringing, often inspired by the special people in their life and the meals they have shared. As well as working as a restaurant chef, Fatti is also the founder of queer dating supper club Eat Cute.

Fatti has shared with us their recipe for spiced tuna steak burger with fried pickles served in a sweet brioche bun – it’s a flavour experience not to be missed!
