Bold street-food flavour with a chef’s edge

Born and raised in Hartlepool, Scott discovered his passion for cooking at a young age and went on to build a career in professional kitchens, including working in Michelin-starred environments. Over two decades in the hospitality industry, he developed strong classical cooking skills while embracing the creativity and energy of street-food culture.
Known as Punk Chef, Scott’s cooking reflects his bold and creative personality. His food is inspired by the big flavours of global street food and comfort dishes, combining professional technique with food that is vibrant, accessible and enjoyable to cook at home.
Alongside his culinary career, Scott has become a recognised voice for deaf representation in the food and media industry. As a deaf chef and presenter, he has appeared on television and digital platforms including Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch, the BBC and Lumo TV, sharing his passion for cooking while promoting greater accessibility through British Sign Language (BSL).
Scott believes that food is a universal language – something that brings people together regardless of background or ability. He is passionate about making food more inclusive and accessible and hopes to inspire more deaf people to explore cooking and the hospitality industry.
