Honey-glazed chicken nuggets recipe

Chinese five spice-flavoured honey gives these chicken nuggets a sweet kick that kids especially will love. Serve with egg-fried veg-packed rice for your new favourite fakeaway dish. See method
Ingredients
- 20 Hearty Food Co. frozen breaded chicken nuggets
- 3 tbsp clear honey
- 1 tsp Chinese five spice
- 2 x 250g packs microwave basmati rice
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 medium free-range eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 head broccoli, separated into bite-sized florets
- 100g frozen sweetcorn
- 2 tbsp reduced-salt soy sauce
- 6 spring onions, thinly sliced

Method
- Preheat the oven to gas 7, 220°C, fan 200°C.
- Cook the chicken nuggets according to packet instructions. Mix together the honey and ½ tsp five spice and toss through the cooked chicken nuggets.
- Cook the rice according to the pack instructions.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large frying pan over a medium heat. Add the eggs and fry for 2-3 mins, stirring gently until fully cooked. Set aside.
- Wipe the pan clean and heat the remaining 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Add the broccoli and sweetcorn. Fry for 5-8 mins until piping hot and the broccoli has softened, then add the soy sauce, remaining ½ tsp five spice, rice, eggs and spring onions. Toss together and serve on a plate topped with the chicken nuggets.
